The Dorint Resort & Spa in Locarno was created as a contemporary oasis dedicated to wellness and tranquility, nestled between the Alpine landscape and the light of Lake Maggiore. For this project, Wall&decò wallpapers become a key element of the visual narrative: they interpret the surrounding nature not as simple decoration, but as an integral part of the guest experience.

The surfaces are transformed into emotional backdrops that accompany every environment—from the rooms to the spa to the family areas—reinterpreting the identity of the place with artistic sensitivity.

Rooms and Suites — Inspiration from water and the local area
The rooms at the Dorint Resort & Spa welcome guests with a soft palette and rarefied atmospheres. Wall&decò wallpapers, featuring aquatic motifs, suspended water lilies, and delicate foliage, evoke the slow rhythm of the lake, transforming the room into a contemplative retreat.
Some rooms welcome guests with a striking graphic reinterpretation of the local landscape: views of the city of Locarno and the surrounding mountains flow across the headboards like a visual story.

Spa — Scenes of tranquility and self-care 
The spa features immersive surfaces where botanical motifs and textured materials promote an immediate sense of calm. The wallpaper interacts with the light from the backlit mirrors and the warm materials of the environment, transforming the treatment rooms into relaxing and deeply coherent landscapes.

Family Area — An illustrated world tailored to children
The spaces dedicated to children adopt a playful and illustrated language: giraffes, palm trees, and graphic motifs create a lively and immersive environment that accompanies slides and soft play areas.
The wallpapers thus become a narrative element capable of stimulating imagination and a sense of discovery.

A tailor-made contract project, where technology and aesthetics converge
The Dorint Resort & Spa project in Locarno expresses Wall&decò's tailor-made approach: each graphic has been adapted or created ad hoc to integrate perfectly into the various types of rooms and common areas.
High-performance technical supports, essential in hotel contexts, were used: vinyl coverings guarantee resistance and durability in the rooms, while the surfaces of the Aquabout Wet System™, used in the wellness areas, ensure impermeability and protection from humidity and condensation.
The result is a coherent set of decorative surfaces that combines technical performance, attention to detail, and full architectural integration.
